Should I deflate the cuffs between sets or leave them inflated?Updated 2 months ago

See below if you're unsure about whether to leave your cuffs inflated between sets or to deflate them between sets:

There is technically no perfect answer here and it depends! In research, we've seen success with deflating between sets and with leaving the cuffs inflated through the entire session. This is up to the tolerance of the individual mostly. In most cases, leaving the cuffs inflated between sets, but deflating between exercises is a good practice. 20 minutes is generally accepted to be around the maximum amount of time one should be under BFR without a break for deflation.
